Our student app can be accessed on any platform - phone, tablet or computer.
The entire process of answering the weekly questions takes 5 minutes maximum. We think it’s well worth the time.
We work with schools to understand how Tranquiliti can work best for them, and there are different models schools can adopt for the weekly check-in, including a self-directed model where students are asked to complete the questions at home.
We have developed a service that is engaging and of value to students, and achieves good levels of engagement across our schools - including 96% uptake from students and a 65% response rate to the weekly questions.
We have purposefully designed our app to build trust with students and in an anonymous survey students reported an 8.9/10 for their honesty when answering the questions.
Select pastoral staff are able to access student profiles that help to identify students that may require support - this process is assisted by our flagging system.
Our questions have been drawn from valid wellbeing measures, and have been compiled with the support of experts, including The Children’s Society.
All of the resources have either been sourced from trusted organisations, including Childline, Young Minds, and The Mix, or they have been developed by our community of leading wellbeing experts.
Tranquiliti’s weekly check-in helps schools develop a holistic, real-time picture of wellbeing, meaning you can make more proactive, data-led decisions. The check-in also helps wellbeing become a part of the culture of your school. It helps students and teachers think about wellbeing each week, not just once a year. Lastly, unlike most surveys, we are not here to just highlight problems – our service is built to provide the tools needed to support students too.
As part of the implementation process, we provide schools with a letter that explains what Tranquiliti is and gives parents/ guardians the opportunity to opt out of the service. We find that on average that less than 1% do.
